Comings and Goings
General Plan
The basic idea is to start in Russia and take the Trans-Siberian Railroad across to Mongolia, where we will attend the Naadam Festival (it's the 800th anniversary of the Mongol Empire in 2006, so we thought we'd stop by!). After Mongolia we descend into China until our visas expire, with possible stopovers in Tibet and Nepal. From there we're going.... somewhere. Maybe India? Thailand? Pakistan? If you have any ideas let us know where you think we should go. We'll let you know when we do! As Susan Sonntag said: "I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list."
