Who are we?

We are recent college graduates of Princeton University and Duke University in the United States. We met at Princeton as undergrads and members of the same coed a cappella group, the Princeton Roaring 20. Following Princeton, Nelle went on to complete a two-year Master's program at Duke. Nelle is originally from Nanuet, New York, and Aaron hails from Derry, New Hampshire.

Why are we going around the world?

We want to see the world and gain some much needed perspective on things before getting jobs and facing the real world.

And for so long!

We realized that we have our entire lives to work and earn money, and no other chance like this to take an extended trip without much responsibility. When we retire in 40 years, we won't be able to run quite as fast and do quite as much. It's now or never!

Are you guys crazy?

Crazy in love? Yes. Crazy in the head? ...err, not yet anyway. You may be able to assess us more objectively than we can from our travelogue entries.

Is this all there is on this page?

For the time being. We ran into some unexpected time constraints while preparing for the trip, so we will have to add more here from the road. Stay tuned!
